*Pure oats are gluten-free: At Rocket Foods, all products are certified Gluten Free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO) which has a standard of 10 parts per million (ppm). In Canada, products without the GFCO certificate label carry the industry designation “Pure Oats”. The Canadian Celiac Association and Health Canada recognize Pure Oats as a healthful addition to most gluten-free diets although they may not be labeled gluten free under current law. This law is currently under review by Health Canada which includes a proposal to allow Pure Oats to be labeled as gluten free. Until that change, products sold in Canada that contain Pure Oats are labeled as wheat, barley and rye free.
Grannys Apple Pie was delicious, but others were a bit strong flavoured. Seems like this type of product may be quite expensive due to the convenience... I may buy for convenience (not everyday use) depending on price. Also, sugar content is wayyyy too high.
My family loved the oats! They were great tasting and have great flavours. My daughter who is four especially enjoyed them and I felt good giving them to her.
It is healthy and quite convenient, but I found it lacking in taste . I would buy it if in need and would recommend it to friends as a convenient, gluten-free snack, but did not like it very much!
This oatmeal was delicious, even my 9 month old daughter liked it! I would probably mix it with plain oatmeal next time as it is a bit on the sweet side in my opinion. However, it is an oatmeal that I will buy again. I really like the packaging. It is recyclable and they fit perfectly in a lunch bag.
Although the cups are convenient, I found them to be very dry... needed to add more water than "the line" in the cup indicates. I believe a more affordable oatmeal option with better flavour is possible if you buy your own small "to-go"/travel bowl.
