You’d never guess this Non Dairy Beverage is made with vegetables. Veggemo is created with pea protein for nutrition and flavour, tapioca for a creamy texture and potatoes for the milky-white colour. With the smoothness and creaminess of 2% dairy milk, Veggemo is rich in calcium, Vitamin D, and is an excellent source of B12. Veggemo is perfect for people with lactose intolerance, allergies or food sensitivities as it’s dairy free and free of most common allergens. Bananamo Bread

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) white sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) baking powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sunflower or other neutral tasting vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) Veggemo Vanilla
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) white vinegar
  • 2 cups (500 ml) mashed very ripe bananas (about 4 large bananas)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F/175C.

2. Sift all Dry Ingredients together.

3. Beat all Wet Ingredients together with an electric mixer until smooth. On low speed, fold in Dry Ingredients just until mixed.

4. Pour batter into parchment-paper lined loaf pans and bake until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan and cool on wire rack.

It is really good. I absolutely loved it. in face I like it plain more than adding it into other beverages. The flavour is mildly sweet with natural scent.

Not very accustomed to the taste when consumed alone, but is better when it is used for cereal or mixed into smoothies/drinks. Overall, pretty innovative for a dairy and soy free product.

Tasted really good, consistency was good as well. Even the kids liked it in their cereal. Great milk alternative, and nice labelling/packaging.

I find the taste kind of weird watery like almonds the colour im not used its more of a creamy off white yellowish. I gave some to my lactose friend and he loved it I would recommend it to people who loves almond flavor
