This cheese melts really well. But taste wise it was off. It was chalky and not great off the bag. Once I melted it in a grilled cheese sandwich, it didn't taste bad, just tasted like nothing .
Used it on chips for nachos
This worked okay on chips but the taste and texture just cannot compare to other shredded cheese. I believe it could be that it’s not salty or rich enough.
Great for dairy free but not for others
If you are specifically looking for dairy free, I would not recommend this due its lack of actual texture and taste. I felt it has an after taste

What a great tasting cheese shreds. These are some easy to use on anything from tacos to salads. Also being plant based is a huge plus for me.

Not bad
For a vegan cheese, I'm very impressed with the texture and the way it melts. Flavor-wise, it's a little on the bland side compared to real cheese, and it's a little disappointing that this contains all the fat of real cheese but not the protein. It's definitely a good substitute for those who are vegan/dairy free, but I don't see the nutritional/culinary advantage for someone who eats dairy.
Texture is different
The cheese had an almost dry texture. It didn’t melt as much as regular cheese, so I combined this with regular and made a quesadilla. It tasted fine and I couldn’t tell when I ate it like that.
