I think I would still prefer dairy cheese, but this is a great alternative if you are dairy free or vegan. I think it’s the texture that throws me off but flavor is on par.

Melts nicely
We are not vegan but my mom actually prefers this brand over the regular dairy shredded cheese. They melt nicely on pizza, tacos, and other warm dishes and have a surprisingly creamy texture. The flavor is good, although it doesn’t taste exactly like traditional cheese and can have a slightly different aftertaste. I also like how easy they are to use straight from the bag. Overall, a solid dairy-free substitute that I would buy again.
Daiya is always a solid option
Daiya has been a staple in my house for years. All vegan cheese is a little weird, but this brand isn't too bad. I've never tried the mexican blend, so this was a fun new flavor to try.
Pretty good
Picked up this free bag at sprouts I believe and it was better than expected. Not a huge fan of dairy free cheese but was a huge noticeable difference between these shreds and regular shredded cheese

Not my favorite. It tastes like plastic and it melt fast but very watery, like those processed yellow cheeses. It does look appealing in top of the food though
Dairy Free Cheese
I bought this at Whole Foods market in Rochester Hills Michigan. I ended up giving it to a friend so can't comment too much except to say it doesn't go bad like regular cheese when un refrigerated.
Turns out I don’t like dairy free cheese
Not a huge fan of this cheese. I figured I would give it a try but I prefer cheese with dairy. The flavor and texture really weren’t my favorite.

I don’t usually use dairy free cheese but figured I would give this a try. It was not bad, given the fact that it’s dairy free. I’ll probably stick to dairy cheese moving forward.
