I love tuna overall, but specifically this kind I did enjoy. I love tuna, just making it with tomatoes, peppers, onions, add mayonnaise, a little bit of lime, pepper, salt, and it turns out so good eating it with tostadas.

Absolutely delicious!
I’m pescatarian and tuna of one of my favorite fish. If I could afford to only buy this tuna, I would. Sometimes canned tuna is dry even though it’s packed in water or olive oil. This is perfectly moist, balanced with salt and a good olive oil.

Great tasting and moist
I really liked the Rio Mare Wild Tuna in Olive Oil because it tasted fresh and was very moist. I think the olive oil really helped with the flavor as well. I liked that I did t need to add anything to it. It could be added to a salad or sandwich as is!

Easy to open and use for tuna mayo
The packaging can was extremely easy to open with a pull tab. The canned tuna was great for tuna mayo onigiris. Very impressed with Large chunks of fish for the price.

Best canned tuna I've had!
My initial thought was that this has a nice, mild smell and a consistency that differs from other tuna brands. When you open it, it's more solid on the top but flakes when you take some out. It's pretty consistent and not chunky at all. The olive oil must be a better fit for packaging than water. Taste-wise, it's delicious. Slightly sweet and oily with a pleasant texture. It's something that I'd eat straight out of the can rather than mixing it with other ingredients. Better than other brands. Sustainability-wise, this is wild caught and from a sustainable fishery in what seems to be Italy. I'm not too sure about the mercury concentration so I'd be wary about eating this every day. Price-wise, it's around $4.50 a can but the trade-off is the quality. It's delicious and I'd definitely have it again!
