I was apprehensive about the product due to the size and design of the packaging and I wasn’t sure if there would be a way to get all of the batter out without making a mess or having a lot of waste. I think that this could be a great option for an occasional purchase, but because of the cost I would much rather use a generic mix and modify it to ensure that the end product is vegan instead.

I do a lot of baking and I was hopeful for these. The batter had a bourbon-y smell to it, which was unexpected. The mini-cupcakes came out of the oven a nice shape and texture vut they were not tasty. Both my daughter and I couldn’t stomach more than half of one mini cupcake.

This was an extremely hard product to find. It endcap. A place you would never think to look. On top of that the cake batter and the icing were in 2 unusual places. I had to go to 3 differnt stores before I could find the product. I even asked for help at the customer service counter. Although this is a very convenient product because there all the ingredients are in one package. No measuring, no mixing, no fuss, no mess just pour and go. I tried the very vanilla. You have to be very diligent in checking the cupcakes after 10 minutes. The closer you get to 12 minutes the harder the batter becomes making it taste little biscuits instead of cupcakes. And the cupcakes didn't rise very well. I wish the product came in bigger packing to make more cupcakes. The price point is a little steep for 24 mini cupcakes.
