I'm really impressed with the EarthKind Rodent Repellent as a parent concerned about keeping our home rodent-free without exposing my teenagers to harsh chemicals. The concept is brilliantly simple – you just place these sachets in areas where you've noticed rodent activity or where you want to prevent them from entering. I put them in our garage, attic, and basement, particularly near entry points and storage areas where we keep seasonal items. The pouches are small enough that they don't take up space or get in the way, and they emit a pleasant earthy scent that's actually quite nice for humans but apparently very off-putting to rodents. What I appreciate most is the peace of mind this product provides. As someone who wants to avoid traps and poisons, especially with pets in the house, this natural deterrent approach is perfect. The effectiveness has been solid – we haven't had any signs of rodent activity since placing these pouches strategically around potential entry points. It's working as a preventative measure, which is exactly what I hoped for. However, I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the replacement schedule. The pouches need to be swapped out every 30 days to maintain their effectiveness, which means you're constantly buying new ones. While I understand that's how the natural scent delivery works, it would be more convenient (and economical) if they lasted longer between replacements. Overall, it's an excellent natural solution for families who want rodent protection without harsh chemicals or traps. Just budget for monthly replacements to keep the protection active.
Works Great Without Harsh Chemicals
I was a little skeptical, but this really works! It keeps mice away without that strong chemical smell. I love that it’s plant-based and safe to use around my pets. Easy to place and lasts a long time definitely worth it for peace of mind.
Pleasant scent--for me!
This smells so good. I like the Earth Kind brand because the baggies are good to toss in an area that you don't normally frequent but still need effective deterrents. I used this in my storage space in my backyard. Cruelty free but good enough to deter pests. I like them and have experienced no issues. I am using these bags with other measures. I simply don't want critters!
It does work
I put this stuff all around my basement, every place I could think of because I have blocked every hole that I could find from a 1/4 of an inch to 3 inch size holes with expanding foam but rodents still find a way into my basement so I had to find something else to eliminate them. So I decided to try this Rodent repellent and within a week I noticed that my traps weren’t getting anything so yes it does work.

These are super convenient to place where needed and they do seem to do the trick so I have zero complaints! I'm not entirely sure how long they last and if they need to be replaced, though, so that might be good to readily advertise. I will say these are likely better suited as a preventative, though, than as a correction if you already have mice.
Strong Odor
I get it. It’s supposed to repel rodents so it will smell very strong but it did not work. I could put up with the smell if the product worked.

I actually loved the strong minty smell. I had seen a couple tiny mouse poops in our storage building. Cleaned them up and put this out. Loved the smell. Haven’t seen any more poops since putting out!
