Perfect Size
We really enjoy sandwiches in our house but it seems that the size of bread loaves are constantly shrinking. This XL Schar Gluten Free option is an amazing size and great for those that needs a gluten free option!

Wanted to try but very expired
I bought this with hopes of finding a solid sandwich bread. When I went to open the package, the best if used by date was July 17, over two months ago! I went to exchange it today and the shelf was cleared, so I had to return it. The ingredients seemed solid and the bread appeared fine, but I was not risking my health. Hopefully I can try it soon!

Great sandwich bread!
I enjoyed this bread. I made tuna, turkey, and pb&j. The bread is soft, and indistinguishable from gluten bread. I also toasted the bread for the tuna fish sandwich. It's great!

Good size - taste & texture ok
I didn’t find this bread to be that amazing GF bread. The thing that made it stand out was the size of the pieces. Not sure I would get again unless it was really on sale or I had a need for large GF pieces of bread.

Good for sandwiches
The gluten-free sliced bread by Schar is good for a nice large sandwich. It tasted good too. I wish you got more slices in a pack for the price.

Wish it was heartier
This has a good taste, but it falls apart a little too easily and leaves me hungry after a few minutes. I would prefer if it had seeds or something more substantial to it.

Delicious
The bread is so soft and delicious. You cannot tell it is gluten-free. Makes a perfect grilled cheese sandwich. I would definitely recommend it.

Schar XL bread
I tried Schar XL sandwich bread. This bread tastes like other Schar bread but it is giant sized. Most gluten free bread has tiny pieces so this is a welcome change if you want a substantial sandwich. The only downfall for me is that I prefer breads made with some whole grains for more nutrition.
