My family and I tried Schar Gluten-free XL Sandwich Bread paninis for lunch. I love the bread size and it made tasty paninis. The bread has large thin slices and is baked with sourdough and made by using millet and Quinoa flours, no wheat since 1922 It is a product from Italy that is gluten-free, lactose-free and a good source of fiber, I recommend Schar Gluten-free XL sandwich Bread to others.

Great size
Great sized bread especially for gluten free bread. It toasts well and stays crispy. The texture is good and rhe bread has less holes in than other GF breads

Disappointing Value and Poor Toastability
While I appreciate the larger slice size of Schär Gluten-Free XL Sandwich Bread, it missed the mark for me. At roughly $1 per slice, it feels significantly overpriced for what you get. To make matters worse, it didn't toast well at all in the toaster, leaving the texture underwhelming. Hard to justify the premium price tag.

Perfect package size
This was the perfect package size. The extra large bread allow me to make one sandwich with one piece of bread there was just enough in the package to give me a week's worth of sandwiches. the package kept the bread fresh it was a perfect way to end the summer with some tomato sandwiches

Tasty
Good bread sealed in a bag. It has a long expiration date too. It is a small pack of bread but its really big pieces of bread. This is good for sandwiches.

Good texture sandwich bread
The taste is a little bit bland and like cardboard but as a sandwich where the toppings shine, it’s great! No crumbling, a perfect square, good texture, easy slicing and pretty good nutrition. It has good fiber and protein comparable to a whole grain bread

Spread did taste good, but it was very large bread so plain sandwich meat and cheese didn’t fit it very well. But if you like large sandwiches, this works great.

Sandwich size!
I’ve had this brand bread before and the size was always my issue because it was too small to use for sandwiches. I love that they upgraded this for an extra large sandwich size. Same great ingredients and taste but just bigger!
