Nice oats
I was excited to try Bob's Red Mill protein oats. I find it to be quite similar to regular oats, which is a good thing since adding protein sometimes changes the texture or taste.

Strange flavor
Unfortunately not only do they taste strange, they feel different on the stomach. It caused digestive issues and I was not impressed at all with them.

Great texture in porridge.
I tried this and made it into a milk and oat porridge. The oats held up perfectly when boiled in both the water and milk. Silky texture, great nutty taste. I generally don't eat oatmeal, but this may convince me to try again.
