Great tasting one of my favorite kimchi
I really like the vegan kimchi from Mother-in-Law's Kimchi. The flavor is bold, tangy, and perfectly fermented without being too sour. It has a nice balance of spice and crunch, and it tastes really fresh compared to a lot of other store-bought kimchi. I also appreciate that it’s completely vegan but still has that traditional kimchi flavor. It’s great on rice, noodles, or just eaten straight from the jar. Every time I buy it, it disappears pretty quickly in my house. Overall, it’s one of my favorite vegan kimchis and I’ll definitely keep buying it.

Incredible umami depth and a perfect spicy kick!
Love this! Finding a vegan kimchi with this much rich, savory flavor is rare. It has a great crunch, sharp tang, and authentic heat. I will love to try it again.

Best
This kimchi is one of the best that I have ever tried but I can’t find it at my new store. It is also a lot more expensive than I would normally pay.
Decent kimchi
This kimchi was not bad. The taste kind of made me think of a spicy sauerkraut. The quality of the kimchi seems nice. My only complaint is that it is spicier than I would like it to be. That is an issue of personal taste, but I have no idea how spicy the spicy flavor would be given how spicy I think the regular flavor was.
Love this kimchi
We love kimchi in our household and are always excited to try new brands. This did not disappoint. It has great flavor and was not too spicy. We will definitely buy again.

Not much in the container
I thought this product was generally very yummy but for the price it was quite costly. I was excited to try this brand because I had not tried getting kimchi in a non-glass bottle and I thought this would be easier to travel with. The taste was fairly good and the texture was very good, but the cost is higher than I would like.

Asian markets do it a little better
Honestly, I am not a vegan. Though this is a great alternative to someone who is vegan and is starting off just trying kimchi. It is light and crunchy and not too strong in flavor. I personally buy mine at the Asian grocery store, I know not everyone has access so I’m grateful for products like this that pretty easy to find in local grocery store and cater to a vegan diet.

Not authentic kimchi
I really wanted to like this kimchi. Unfortunately it just tasted like spicy water. I tried to let it ferment and give it another try but it didn’t have that authentic spicy, savoury and sour flavor

Flavorful, and worth the buy!
Really good, and filling. I’m aware certain kimchi brands aren’t actually that spicy, but this one is decently spicy, so if you can’t tolerate it I wouldn’t recommend it; but if you want something organic, good for your gut health, and delicious, this one is very nice. I plan to try the seaweed flavor eventually!

Strong taste, vegan, disappointed in plastic
I did not enjoy this product much, although I am not always a big kimchi fan. What distracts me more is that it is in plastic, whereas myself (and the planet) would prefer glass. Perhaps this could be an issue with a fermented product, but I have seen fermented products in glass. The pieces of cabbage are large, and there is a pungent taste, as is expected. I imagine this would cook well or be enjoyed alongside a meal that balances it. I love that it is vegan!!
