VERY TASTY - but too small and too pricy
It was extremely delicious!! I'm not sure how much I will buy them though because they are too expensive for how small they are. They either need to cost less, or be bigger. I'd have to eat at least 3 of them to get anywhere close to a meal.

Ok product
I wasn't really a fan. My husband enjoyed more than me. I don't think I would purchase again. Needs more flavor and better texture. If they updated that I might try.
It was just okay
I thought the flavor was okay, but the texture of the tamale wasn't really what I was expecting. I know store-bought tamales aren't going to be nearly as good as the "real thing." So I had adjusted my expectations. But had I not known it was a tamale, I wouldn't have thought it was.

Faux chicken tasted pretty good
Tried the Chicken Verde variety and found it easily at frozen section at Sprouts. The masa shell was soft and had a great flavor. The faux chicken filliwng was tasty and the Verde sauce was a little thick. This variety is definitely a great choice to start with the Alpha brand

I liked that these had good flavor and were really easy to make. Wish they were a little bit bigger but besides that I enjoyed and would buy again.

I like this Plant-Based Tamale by Alpha Foods. It is an easy way to eat nutritious food. The flavor and texture is good. My kids also like it.

These plant based tamales by Alpha Foods are very tasty! Way to heat up for a quick lunch! Added a little chips and salsa and it was a delicious meal!
These tamale's are pretty tasty. I like spicy foods, so I did add some hot salsa, that helped give it a kick, but I enjoyed the ease of preparation and the flavor combo, even without real meat. It's a keeper.
