Where to Buy

The sea salt seaweed chips were the only product of their lines I could find in local Walmart, and given WM and that I was a merchandiser for years, not surprised. The first sheet was overwhelmingly fishy, and I eat kelp, dulce, cook with seaweeds and love them, so... it improved not being so strong through the pack. The sheets do tend to get sort of ropy after "dissolving" and they do leave a pretty distinct aftertaste that lasts for a while. Was troubled there is no info on where the seaweed is from...they state organic, but if they do not state where, and it is Pacific, which may be since they are not stating, it truly is not if you consider the radiation levels affecting most of the kelp and dulce. A flavored version might have been more palatable.

I didn't see the Seaweed snacks but I did find the No Soy Sauce. It is delicious and is a great substitute for original soy sauce which I use a lot for salad dressings, Asian main dish recipes and Kale or Spinach.

Variety tried: No Soy Sauce

Taste really good. Crispy and not too salty. Seaweed might not be the first thing that comes to mind when we think of healthy snacks, but it's actually a delicious, low-cal way to add a boost of nutrients to your day. It's packed with important vitamins and minerals such as iodine, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and vitamins A and C. When you buy it in stores, you'll most often find dried seaweed (usually the nori variety, which is the kind used to wrap sushi) sold in sheets, flakes, or handy snack packs. Fresh seaweed, on the other hand, is commonly sold as an ingredient in prepared foods like sushi or seaweed salad.

I thought the Maui onion flavor was really good! My daughter who’s 8, also enjoyed it. Just wish the package was larger, but the price was decent. Also, I had to go to stop & shop 3x to purchase, since they didn’t have any the other 2 times. I can’t find many of the products, and I bought the last 2 packs of the seaweed snack off the shelf.

Not for me, for hubs. He freaking loves these things. I have no idea why (then again I neither like seaweed NOR sriracha) The smell can clear a room when you open the package, and dear god, brush your teeth after you eat them haha. But as he's had me order these several times for him, I have to give it a 5-star review. If you like weirdly seasoned seaweed as a snack, these are for you.
