Great potting soil
I really like this brand and want to try more of their products! It is a great soil for planting. I feel like it is one of my favorites so far and not too bad of a price.
Good dirt
I loved the dirt .. I loved the drainage it gave I well use this product again ... I have tried the flower kit also now that was nice to grow with my son
Easy Growing Soil
The Back to the Roots organic potting mix has been working really well for my houseplants and herbs in containers. The texture is light and fluffy with bits of coconut coir and perlite so water drains nicely but the soil still holds enough moisture that my plants do not dry out right away. I like that it is organic, peat free and already includes plant food and beneficial mycorrhizae to help support root growth, so do not have to mix in a bunch of extras when I repot something. My basil and mint perked up quickly after moving into this soil and new growth started showing within a couple of weeks. The only minor downside is that the bag is not huge, so if you are doing a lot of bigger pots you will go through it fast, but for apartments and small patios it is perfect and I would absolutely buy it again.

This product was great the organic potting mix was soft and easy to mange while potting with seeds for home grown vegetables like carrots potatoes and beets

I grew some herbs in it and they came up quick. Not much else to say, it's putting soil. Haven't harvested any of the plants yet, but i don't expect any problems or issues.

I’ve used a lot of soils over the years, and this one actually surprised me in a good way. It’s light, airy, and I like that it’s organic and peat free. You can tell it’s made with clean ingredients, which gives me peace of mind for my herbs and veggies. When I first opened the bag, I did notice some wood pieces, but once I mixed it around a bit, it worked just fine. My plants adjusted quickly, and they’ve been growing strong since. I added a little perlite for extra drainage, but even on its own, it holds moisture well without getting soggy. Some people mention gnats, but I didn’t have any problems. I kept mine sealed up and used it fresh, and everything stayed clean. The texture feels alive, not like that flat, chemical-filled dirt you get from big brands. Overall, this is a solid organic mix if you want something natural and dependable. I’d use it again for indoor plants and outdoor containers. It’s not fancy, but it’s honest, healthy soil that gets the job done. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It’s good knowing my plants are growing in something that’s as clean and natural as the food I’m growing.
Healthy, Fluffy Organic Potting Mix
I tried this product for repotting several houseplants and starting herbs. The mix is light and fluffy, easy to work with, and holds moisture without turning soggy. My herbs perked up within a week, and new leaves appeared on a neglected pothos after I repotted it. It has a pleasant earthy smell and no dust cloud when poured. For succulents I'd add some grit, but for everyday houseplants and seedlings this organic mix is reliable, tidy, and gives plants a noticeable boost. Highly recommend.
