The packaging is colorful (and easy to wrap) and the directions are easy to follow. I am looking forward to watching the plant grow. Oh! This would also be great to have in a classroom because the container is sturdy and since it's see-through students would be able to watch the roots grow in addition to the sprouts, leaves, etc.

Didn't grow
I followed the instructions directly and the seeds didn't even sprout. I'm not sure what the issue was here. Cool idea but I didn't get anything out of it.

Disappointed
Never sprouted. Treated them like little babies & they just didn’t pop up. This is the main reason I rated it so low. More words needed. Still more words needed. More still ?
Good packaging
Good packaging and clear instructions. Unfortunately, I did not have a sunny weather and it rained a lot. Chili's didn't grow for me. Thank you.
This is an awesome gift idea!
When this showed up, I was surprised how big and awesome it was. I actually forgot I ordered it on Social Nature and thought it was a surprise gift from someone special! It is packaged well and has easy to follow instructions. I like how simple it is and that I can yield many peppers from a planter on my windowsill. I also love how I can see the moisture level from inside the clear jar. This is a wonderful thing to grow for yourself or gift to a friend. 10/10!

My 8 year old enjoyed planting and watching grow. Great activity for both adults and child. Used chiles for food and many types of salsa. Good flavor and not over spicy.
Fabulous all in one kit
I have always wanted something like this to grow hot chilis. I have so far set up the kit and still waiting for seeds to grow after keeping the soil mix damp. Hopefully it grows but so far it is very easy to set up and put near the window sill.

I was so excited to get my Back to the Roots Organic Chili grow kit. It arrived recently and I followed the easy directions to get my chili peppers started. The whole family is looking forward to watching the peppers grow then enjoying the organic spice.
Straightforward Kit
I just planted my chili seeds, so no action yet. I like that the kit used a glass jar- helpful to see water levels and fun to see roots. I hope to see some action from the seeds germinating in a couple days. Super nice that the dirt was already in the kit- everything was prepared and provided!
This is cool
My kit just arrived and I planted it, but have yet to see anything. It's a cool idea if you don't grow anything outside. I'm anxious to see what other plants this company has!
