You’d never guess this Non-Dairy Beverage is made with vegetables. Veggemo is created with pea protein for nutrition and flavor, tapioca for a creamy texture and potatoes for the milky-white color. Bananamo Bread

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) white sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) baking powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sunflower or other neutral tasting vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) Veggemo Vanilla
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) white vinegar
  • 2 cups (500 ml) mashed very ripe bananas (about 4 large bananas)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F/175C.

2. Sift all Dry Ingredients together.

3. Beat all Wet Ingredients together with an electric mixer until smooth. On low speed, fold in Dry Ingredients just until mixed.

4. Pour batter into parchment-paper lined loaf pans and bake until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan and cool on wire rack.

I never thought I’d get my family to try non-dairy milk, but this one from Veggemo surprised all of us. It doesn’t have some weird awful smell like some do, and it tastes like milk! Incredible.

Would definately recommended it really taste good, and i really enjoyed the original i will definately try other fla ors as well. I cannot drink regular milk so this brand is worth been the alternative.

I tried the original and it was ok, it had a nice enough consistency. Tasted nothing like actual milk like they claim, but I don't mind that

This was an interesting try. Alternative 'milks' are hit or miss. Veggemo, for us, was on the line. We tried the Unsweetened Original variety. The taste was okay. It was just fine with our morning cereal. In coffee, the flavor wasn't a fit for us. I also tried it in a white sauce for a casserole base. It worked quite well.

It was great. I love that it is so smooth and very creamy. I am always looking for non dairy milk that taste good and this one definitely tastes great.
