You’d never guess this Non-Dairy Beverage is made with vegetables. Veggemo is created with pea protein for nutrition and flavour, tapioca for a creamy texture and potatoes for the milky-white colour. Veggemo contains 6g of protein per serving and is rich in calcium, Vitamin D, and is an excellent source of B12. It is perfect for people with lactose intolerance, allergies or food sensitivities as it’s dairy free and free of most common allergens. Bananamo Bread

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) white sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) baking powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sunflower or other neutral tasting vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) Veggemo Vanilla
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) white vinegar
  • 2 cups (500 ml) mashed very ripe bananas (about 4 large bananas)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F/175C.

2. Sift all Dry Ingredients together.

3. Beat all Wet Ingredients together with an electric mixer until smooth. On low speed, fold in Dry Ingredients just until mixed.

4. Pour batter into parchment-paper lined loaf pans and bake until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan and cool on wire rack.

I really did not enjoy this product, the taste was bland. I tried it quite a while ago and still have vivid memories of the taste and texture that I did not like at all. I usually prefer soy or almond milks.

I loved this milk! My roommate is vegan so we have no problem sharing milk now instead of having to buy separate mills. I’ve even tried baking with it and found that it works as a great replacement!

My daughter was the one who tried this product. She enjoyed the smooth taste and she also mixed it with strawberry syrup. She love the taste. This is a product we now buy often.

Didn't like the taste...it was not a favourite and wasn't a product I will buy again. Not my most favourite thing...I like lactose milk better but this probably better for vegge lovers.

I never received this product to try so I can really express my option on this item. I have never tried it. I will fill out the below questions as best I can but just know I never got to try it sorry. I will answer hr questions as I would like to try it.
