Utiva UTI Starter Kit

Utiva is a Canadian brand that launched with a focus on natural UTI prevention. Our UTI Control Supplement launched primarily with Urologists, Urogynecologists, Primary Care  and Naturopaths  who have supported our formulation due to the clinical evidence around it. Utiva is offered at many of the academic hospitals across USA and Canada  in an effort to help patients reduce antibiotic usage.

The Utiva UTI Control Supplement is made from local cranberries and is a concentrated extract of proanthocyanidins (PACs). PACs are the active molecules of the cranberry and are responsible for stopping bacteria from sticking and causing an infection. Cranberries have been questioned in the past if they work for UTI prevention but only since 2019, has Urology guidelines in USA and Canada included cranberry products with high PAC concentration into their UTI prevention guideline as the only natural option.  Each Utiva UTI Control capsule contains 36mg of PAC (by DMAC/A2 method) and only requires 1 small capsule daily for ongoing prevention. Our capsule size contains only 240mg of cranberry extract but with a high 15% concentration of PACs making this one of the smallest cranberry capsules with minimal fillers.   Most cranberry pills and cranberry juice have less than 5mg PACs which is not enough for effective UTI prevention.  1 Utiva pill with 36mg PACs is almost equivalent to take nine regular cranberry pills a day.  

The Utiva UTI Test Strips are the only UTI home test strips available for consumer use and FDA and Health Canada approved. They test for leukocytes (white blood cells) and nitrites (ecoli) which is the same as in the medical clinic or at the lab. 3 tests are included per box.
