Zellee’s Fruit Jels are based on a family recipe!  Zellee Organic was founded by Eriko Dowd, a mother of three living in Maui, Hawaii.  Her own mother’s all-natural take on Japanese gelatin desserts and her daughter’s food allergies inspired her to create a delicious, allergen-free fruit jel snack.  After hours of experimentation in the kitchen and taste-tested by her good friend Lisa O’Kelly, who later became her co-founder, Eriko arrived at the perfect recipe. Her children called it Zellee, the Japanese word for jelly.

The snack’s incredible gel-like texture is made with real fruit and konjac, a plant from East Asia. With immune-boosting vitamins A, C & D and no added sugar, Zellee is a healthy anytime, anywhere snack.  In addition, thanks to its all-natural, plant-based composition, Zellee Organic’s snacks are free of all common food allergens, including gluten, egg, and dairy.
