Sweet Dry-Roasted Chickpea Snacks

We started Lebby Snacks to bring the best of both worlds to snacking: healthy & happy. As children, our founders Onur Oz and Sinan Asa used to snack on dry-roasted chickpeas from street sellers after school. They developed Lebby Snacks to bring the Mediterranean style roasting process that they grew up enjoying to the US. This roasting process is a 500-yr-old, artisan crafted recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation, and creates a tender crunch unlike any other legume snack on the market. It uses only the earth’s elements - fire, water, and air - no oil, no salt, no additives, no exceptions. They wanted to take these traditional chickpeas and turn them into a modern, bold, delicious, and fun snack - something that was both healthy and indulgent - and they found that the chickpeas’ unique tender crunch paired perfectly with both chocolate and sesame honey! Onur and Sinan are proud to introduce their chickpea snacks to the world and hope they will give consumers a new appreciation for the powerhouse that is the chickpea.
