Works with sweet and savory recipes but use less
I thought the Wholesome Dark Brown Sugar with Bourbon was an interesting flavor. I tried it in a small amount in a savory oatmeal bake dish and I couldn't taste the bourbon. I might have used too much when adding it to a marinade and sauce for beef broccoli. It tasted odd. It probably works better in a sweet application, but I will still try to use it if I find a bourbon chicken recipe.

Great for banana bread
I used the brown sugar for cooking chocolate banana bread and it was amazing. The subtle vanilla flaour was great and the better ingredients are an added benefit

You can smell it the moment the bag is open, and it is a warm real vanilla smell rather than the sharp candy note artificial vanilla has. The sugar is a coarse turbinado style crystal

Expensive but good
I tried the vanilla and the bourbon flavors and they're both fab. The sugar is soft and fresh, not one big lump of a hard mess and you really do get a depth of flavor and richness you wouldn't expect. I baked with it and also used in coffee and to top yogurt, all delicious.
