Delicious but pay attention
Great quality bread, chewy and flavorful. Biggest issue is maintaining freshness - once you open the bag, you better finish it soon! Keeping in the fridge dries it out and you aren't supposed to freeze it, but I don't eat that much bread in a week!

Sourdough for the win
I do enjoy the sourdough more than their regular bread! it taste light and have a good flavor that isn't too little or much! I don't see a lot of gluten free sourdough options in store so this is a good surprise to find!

Flavor better than some, texture still a challenge
There is a real need for a GF alternative for deli sandwiches that evokes sourdough rye. This is certainly closer than Schar's other breads, but still suffers from gummy, crumbly texture. However, the size is larger than GF breads with textures closer to wheat-based breads, so if someone's hankering for a Dagwood and holding a lot of filling is the goal, this might be an option.

This sourdough bread is so good. It was not in bread aisle of walmart, and had to ask assistance to locate Schar products. It was worth the hunt, as I enjoyed the taste and texture.
