Great gluten free baguette option
This shelf-stable baguette surprised me with its soft texture and mild flavor. Once warmed or lightly toasted, it tastes remarkably close to regular bread. It’s perfect for sandwiches, garlic bread, or quick meals, and it holds up well without crumbling like many gluten-free loaves.

Great texture
This was the closest gluten free baguette to regular bread I have found so far. It had great texture which usually is the problem with gluten free and it did not get hard like other gluten free bread after toasting.

Not a fan
I tried this product and was very disappointed. It tasted ok but was VERY dense and dry. I also had a hard to trying to find it in the store.

Crispy Gluten Free Baguette
I tried the Schar gluten free baguette and it honestly gets really close to regular bakery bread when you warm it up the right way. I pop it straight on the oven rack for a few minutes and it comes out with a crisp crust and a soft chewy middle that is perfect for sandwiches or garlic bread. The flavor is mild with a little bit of sourdough tang, so it works with everything from butter and jam in the morning to a loaded sub for dinner. I like that it is gluten free and also wheat free and lactose free so it is an easy option when I am having friends over who all have different food needs. The only thing I do notice is that once the package is open it dries out pretty fast, so I keep it in the fridge and try to use it within a couple of days which seems to be what the brand recommends anyway.Overall I recommend this baguette if you miss having crusty bread with soup or pasta because the texture and taste are way better than most shelf stable gluten free breads.

Handy for guests
This kept well in the freezer. My mother in law is a n avid user of this brand, but had never had the baguette. Upon her arrival from out of state we toasted it, made a sandwich & was perfecto!

Good gluten free option
Very good option for anyone who is gluten free. Tastes close to regular bread. Made a couple fried fish sandwiches with this bread and we both enjoyed them. Would suggest for my gluten free friends and family.

Hard to find
This product was hard to find and purchased after the promotion. It is a great gluten free bread. My daughter enjoyed it and she has purchased it several times since taste testing it.

Decent gluten free option
Schär’s Gluten-Free Baguette is decent—nice crisp outside and soft inside, but a bit dry and slightly dense. Good for GF, but not the best. Better if you toast it of course!
