Where to Buy

It was pretty good! Kids actually really liked it. I would recommend it to friends and family. Only issue I have with the product is the price. I find it a little expensive.

Thank you social nature for letting me test the Energy bar mix. I got the Ginger Snap & Apple. It tasted just as expected a burst of fall flavors. It was super easy to make once I got all the ingredients. The kids enjoyed it which means it gets their picky approval. I have mentioned it to friends and will purchase it in the future.

I would definitely repurchase this product. It's a perfect, healthy snack for on the go! You definitely have to give this product a try! You will not be disappointed!

I was surprised at the size of this bag when I found it in store. My family tried Cocoa, Hemp and Almond Gorp mix. I haven't tried gorp before so I didn't know what to expect. I certainly thought we'd have to cook them. We do buy other brands of granola so this is a nice change from what other companies offer. Since this is basically just the dry ingredients for bars, the price is a bit high for home made bars. I have never purchased rice syrup so we, like others used more honey. That's a lot of honey. If I were to make these again I think I would try with a jam to ad an additional flavour too. Since they are dry ingredients, I'm not sure why it expires so quickly but maybe I grabbed a bag that was older to begin with. I would try again as they are an easy make and i'm interested in the other option, but i also like making granola bars at home with my little guys, using the products we have in our pantry regularly. I did suggest them to my mother in law for her camping trips though. it peaked her interest.

My family really enjoyed the Cocoa, Hemp and Almond Gorp mix. I made my batch using all honey because I didn't have the rice syrup at home and the bars still turned out great and held up well. I've never tried the prepacked Gorp bars before so I can't compare them to that, but the taste of these were pretty good, a little too sweet for me though. My kids and my husband really enjoyed them. As a family, we regularly buy and consume granola bars and I feel this was a nice healthier change over what we normally buy. It also uses less disposable packaging and even encourages you to resuse the bag to store the made bars in. Perfect on the go snacks for our camping/hiking/beach trip this summer. Love that it's a canadian product as well! The only downside would obviously be that it's less convienient than buying prepackaged but I also like the option of adding your own ingredients to customize the bars. #trieditfree #socialnature
