I had never heard of rice porridge before trying this one by Mr Lee's, and I'm sad I haven't heard about it sooner. This stuff is amazing! Today was a particularly drizzly, glum day, and this rice porridge was a bright spot in my day. It was delicious (and the container warmed my cold hands). I love that this rice porridge is free of artificial ingredients and that it includes a blend of three grains. I am excited to try more flavors.

Congee Soup on the Go
Congee soup on the go that is many Asian Americans dream breakfast. I enjoyed that it was easy to eat and easy to carry. The soup tasted exactly like how my mother used to make it on the stove.
Convenient and delicious
I usually make my own porridge and it takes a while. So I was glad to try this quick alternative. I got the chicken flavor. It tasted different from what I'd usually make but definitely still very delicious. The soft texture is also easy on the stomach.
Convenient and instant
There is only so much you can expect on taste from instant on taste but I do appreciate the convenience of it. I got the chicken congee rice porridge and its great to have on hand when you're sick and too tired to cook congee.
Excellent healthy soup
Love that there is a grocery shelf option for congee. Asian food is coming a long way and this product represents it well. I like the ingredient list, the ease is making it and price point.
Disliked texture
Tried this product in a promotion. I did not prefer the texture or taste. It was easy to find in my local store. Don’t think I would try it again based on the texture alone.
With most made ahead, rehydrate meals, the flavor was a little lack luster. Yet, when you add in a few more ingredients, you can really make this pop whether for a quick meal/snack or side dish. I was pleasantly surprised that the texture was not terrible and I would definitely eat again, as long as I could spice it up.
It was ok... Didn't like it that much. Has a funny taste to it but everyone has different taste in food the good thing is that my kids liked it
This was ok. It left you to miss the flavors and spice of the traditional version. It's ok for a snack, but Def get the traditional if you have a want for it
This was a thick tasty hearty porridge I wouldn’t call it soup very convenient I like it I must say it’s a little high in sodium but most dried products are but it doesn’t taste it I liked this very much my grandchildren liked it to and easy enough for them to make themselves
