Social Nature is very excited to welcome Felicia Bochicchio to our growing team! Felicia has more than 20 years of sales and customer engagement expertise, specializing in developing small businesses into high-growth companies. We wanted to take an opportunity to introduce Felicia to our community and give folks an inside look at who this sales vet is and what makes her tick.

Welcome to the team, Felicia! We’re excited to get to know you. Tell us a bit about you, like where are you joining us from?  

Thanks for having me, it’s great to be onboard! I love that Social Nature leverages my personal mantra, to live healthily and work passionately.

I have a background in working with high-growth tech companies here in Vancouver to drive recurring revenue models and establish sustainable sales teams. I most recently came from Bench Accounting, a 200+ person FinTech startup. I was also part of the executive team at The Active Network, which is now a $400+ million dollar company publicly traded on the NASDAQ.

What attracted me to Social Nature, is that it’s an opportunity to not only scale a great business but also to scale impact. Simply put, the more natural brands we work with, the more people we are introducing to natural products!

Favorite thing about Vancouver?  

100% the mountains, oceans, and rivers. It is an amazing ecosystem of everything beautiful and fresh. 

How do you #trynatural in your everyday life?

I’m trying to be a good role model for my daughter, so we’re incorporating the #trynatural lifestyle anywhere we can. We have only toxin-free cleaning, laundry, and gardening products, and we love growing our own vegetables in our organic greenhouse. Part of our gardening hobby is also composting and using the good soil to grow our food, and using only manual gardening tools, so no electric lawn mowers.

What do you think people would be most surprised to learn about you?  

I am from New Jersey, competed in an Eco-Challenge and can hold a handstand.

What is your typical morning routine?

Wake up around 6 am, go for a run, make coffee and eat toast with butter.

What life advice would you give your younger self?  

To talk to more strangers.

Do you have any job interview wisdom you can share?   

Be able to offer a unique perspective on yourself and the company you are interviewing with. The question is what are your unique strengths, how will you contribute and what does that contribution mean for yourself and the company you are applying for?

What are you most excited to accomplish this year?

To continue to grow our sales team with people who thrive on challenges, and to create more strategic partnerships with marketing agencies and food brokers. The consumers packaged goods industry has been relying on traditional marketing tactics for years, but with 52% of Millennials driving organic food sales, the way natural brands market their products has to change, and I believe Social Nature is that 2.0 marketing solution.
